★ Going on a Trip {Want2Scrap}

Happy Monday to all the crafters out there today! A new week, and a new project to share with you.  This Polka Dot Album Project will likely have you thinking Polka Dots, but its such a fun project. I am going to share with you a mini album using the Polka Dot 5x7 Chipboard Album from want2Scrap and of course a couple Sprightly Sprockets too.

travel with me 006

I know i have mentioned in the past that want2Scrap Chipboard covers in only one coat of ink, for me its such a time saver when  you love mini albums like i do.  the front of the album i just covered in one coat of Mocha Mama chalk Ink from Quick Quotes.  that paper line is from Carta Bella-Well Travelled. I traced the cover out on kraft card stock, inked the edges and stamped it with a script stamp so some of the words would show through the polka dots on the cover.

inside cover

This is the inside cover and i wanted to have the chance to add private momentoes and family secrets into pockets and envelopes, so this inside cover is on a A2 Kraft Card, that can hold further photos, tickets, stubs and any other special memories.

pg 1the first page, that is a A2 card, cut in half, which is now a fold out page for added photos.

pg 2page 3-a ful A2 Card with more room for added photos and journaling. I made sure i punched the holes for the rings each time i traced the paper out and adhered it to the chipboard.

pg 3page five i added a tag and cut out some stamps from the postage paper, along with some twinery twine.  Be sure to drop on by the Want2Scrap blog and check out the rest of the pages in the Album
