★ Altered Metal Tin {Want2Scrap}

Hello fellow Want2Scrappers today i wanted to show you an metal piece i picked up at a Mary Maxim that i thought would look really great altered. When i first saw the piece, i glanced at it, and walked past, then came back to it thinking, hmm, i could do this, and this, and that, ----so here is the piece i am referring to. Complete with chicken wire and clothespins.

here is what i designed with it

metal tin 019

the header is mounted with magnets to the metal so that i can switch the header out for different seasons. and being the "life cards" care attached with the clothes pins, i can easily switch these out, add them to my albums and create new family-life cards to go along with the seasonal header. what an awesome idea and it worked out so beautifully. Here are a couple closer images at the project.

The paper line i used is from Heartfelt Creations-Sunkissed collection. I sued my silhouette to cut some life cards and the title

The flowers were created using the Vintage floral die from Heartfelt along with the Bella Rose die for the leaves and vines..

I used a glue pen and sprinkled fairy dust from Donna Salazar on all the hand molded flowers on this project. There are many more possibilities to other seasonal headers and life cards, and i looked forward to showing you one again in the fall :D

until next time Happy Scrapping!
