★ You're so thoughtful (Creative Embellishments)

Hello Everyone, im back today to share a project for Creative Embellishments. I have another card for you today, this one with plenty of eye candy. We have had such a long winter, that i so wanted to do a bird cage and flowers...so here is what i came up with.

This project was published in the Fall 2014 Issue of Canadian Scrapbooker!

I used a 6x6 square lattice panel on the background. photo/page corners in the corner and Bird Cages too. So the first thing you will want to do, is to prime all the chipboard pieces you will be using with Gesso. Think of chipboard like painting a wall, prime it to get the true colour you want to use.

i primed my pieces. and heat set to dry. the lattice background i coloured with Quick Quotes Chalk Ink, Tahiti and Baja Blue., did the same with the bird cage

I coloured the corner with Faber Castell Big Brush Pens70

heat set to dry and then applied a coat of versa mark and dipped in UTEE four times

and it turned out like this, these photo corners have such incredible detail to them, i felt it would be perfect for the cage.

i then darkened the birds on this piece with a darker big brush pen.  here is a detail shot

see you again soon :D
