★ Cre8Art-Cross Promo-

Today we are doing a cross promo with Heartfelt Creations and Really Resonable Ribbon.  I use ribbon on alot of my card projects so it was easy for me to incorporate ribbon into these two cards I designed for todays cross promo. Today I am only sharing one card with you, i will share the second one tomorrow.

The Geared up Collection as i mentioned in last weeks post, has been my utmost favorite.  I love the masculine colours; the steampunk look and feel and it was perfect for what i had in mind.

Again, i used Creative Embellishments Chipboard on both cards, below is the detail for my Cre8Art Card.  The toille and the gold thread are both from Really Reasonable Ribbon and you can find the links below.

Instructions: Begin by cutting Grand labels four out on canson water colour paper. ( #2) cut straight at bottom. Cut #3 for card back. Twice, one for card base back and one for back of card. I ink edges with evergreen distress ink and a blending tool Stamp cogs and Gears precut set onto cut just made and stamp right in the center of the using Black Archival ink. Take the dropped paint (splotches ) image from the shifting gears precut set, ink with black archival ink all around image, reinking the image in between when needed. Cut straight on bottom to measure up with the card back. Stamp the Create Art Plate on water colour paper from the Plates and Gears precut Set using black archival ink onto water colour paper. Cut out using Geared up Die. Ink main image with wild honey distress ink and a blending tool in random spots, and use evergreen distress ink as well. Cover the entire surface. Cut out with Grand labels four (#3) and ink edges with walnut stain distress ink. Tie Really Reasonable ribbon around center twice and tie in double bow. Attach Gold thread from really reasonable ribbon to button and attach button to knot in ribbon, tuck in two maya road trinket pins and set aside for now. Gesso Creative Embellishments corner chipboard with gesso, heat set. Then mist with tattered leather glimmer mist and verdigris until you achieve the colour you like. You may need to shorten this abit but cutting off a small cog on each end. And attach this to the card base. Colour the cre8 plate with evergreen distress ink and wild honey and attach to bottom center of chipboard piece as shown. Using the Geared Up Die, cut out 2 large flowers, two round and five small flowers from geared up papers, ink some with Tahiti chalk ink, baja blue chalk ink and walnut stain distress ink. I misted the walnut stain flowers with radiant rain solar gold to add some shimmer. Cut out four leaves and ink with peeled paint distress ink, mold using molding mat. Add brads to centers of flowers as shown and assemble card as shown. When assembled, using Lumiere gold paint and a paint brush, speckle the card by dipping the brush into the gold paint and running your finger along the brush to allow the paint to drop on the card. Be sure to add speckles to all part of the card. Attach to card back and you are done :D
