  1. Oh gorgeous stamps! I love Christmas - my favorite holiday!

As for a mishap, this happens all the time. You would think I would remember it, but no........ I use Stickles in a fine line and then plbtbtbtbt! A big ol' blob of it comes out with a lot of air. Oy!

  2. Thanks for your leadership within the industry. Mishap, well, I wrecked a photo (creases) re-printed and did not like the new print. Had to re-glue the old photo back to the layout. Good thing it was a shabby layout.

  3. follow you already.. but love to visit often... Had a page totally done and put glossy accents on it.. set aside but not in a spot away from everyone and everything? No names but someone was viewing and touched and messed it up.. beyond repair. Had to redo whole page? should have known better and am very careful now to hide those pages until dry? LOL

  5. thank you Holly, Ava, Bev and Jean for sharing your mishaps. I will share one of mine with you, this is the very first time i had a mishap in my scrapbook room. My boys when they were little loved my stamp pads and my youngest especially loved blotting them upside down on paper. he didnt know any better and took a black ink pad, turned it upside down and stamped all over a newly created layout for a class, LOL!! yea i did redesign it. I will share more in the next few days :D

  9. Well, I really love this collection of stamps so I will try as well to win this one... :)
My mishaps, is when I tried to join one of the sketch from Sketchabilities, Sketch No.123. I spilled the Vibrant Turquoise on my page and I thought I could never fixed it. I was so desperate doing this and that, but finally the page was saved... My mishap turned out fine.... :)

  10. I had just finished a two page layout of my Granddaughter Emma, and had shown my husband because I really loved how they turned out. I sat the layouts on the counter and promptly spilled water on both pages. I had printed the photos on my home printer and the ink ran all over the layout. I had to redo both pages but to do it, I had to find more of the paper i had used. It took going to three stores to find it. I had reverse printed (mirror image) the word "Ballerina" on the back side of cardstock and had fussy cut it out. I had to do that over too. What a mess and a headache to redo both layouts but I got it done and I still love the layout today. lol!

  12. Love this set, I have the die set for the flowers but never got around to getting the flowers. The rest of the stamps are beautiful. Another great give-away Karan, thank you for the opportunity. Deleted previous comment as I posted to quickly.

I have mishaps all the time, I put the glue on the wrong side of an envelope in the mini album, I glue things on upside down onto the card face but my biggest mishap is most recently I glued the pages in the wrong order and had to tear apart the entire book and start all over, well if you have every used the Sookwang tape you all know what a disaster my pages ended up looking like. I ended up redooing more than 1/3 of them.

  13. Love reading all the mishaps and seeing how everyone fixes them. I personally have had many of the same mishaps as the others are saying but I think my biggest mishaps are those with my cats. My cats love to be all up in what I am doing, so they are usually causing some massive crinkles in my completed projects before I can't get them put up or their claws tear up the beautiful paper that I plan to use. So after many projects have been hindered by my kitties I have finally learned to keep them out of the crafting room ;)

  15. LOVELOVELOVE these stamps! They are one of the sets that I have drooled over but never can find them when I have the money for them! Would love to win them!
My biggest mishap was when the shelf that held all of my glitters, embossing powders and gems collapsed. The glitters and embossing powders were all in glass S&P shakers and shattered into millions of pieces and the gems that were in plastic containers flew out and went everywhere! When we moved two years later we found lots of gems and glitter that we had missed. It was in the heating ducts and everything. WHAT A MESS!
Thank you for the chance to win these incredible stamps. I am a blog follower. :-)

  17. I loved reading everyones stories. I guess when we have mist, ink glue and paper all on one table, something is bound to happen.

There was another time, when i was doing alot with Glimmer mist, and not even checking if the bottle of black mist had a tight lid, i went to shake it and split the bottle all over my area! Luckily i had a large mat underneath and none hit my carpet in my scrap room. But the papers i was working on at the time were completely ruined, you cant cover up black unless you want a really dark layout and at the time, it was a no, LOL!!!

  18. LOVE these stamps!!! LOVE H C!!! Thank you for the opportunity to participate!!! I guess one of my worst mishaps was when I was making a large amount of Christmas cards and after adding the front pieces to about 25 cards, I realized that they were all upside down. Ugh!!! Haste makes waste 😁

  19. I put together a lovely mixed media canvass of romantic highlights through the years for my parents' 40th anniversary. They were ooh-ing and aww-ing over each detail when, suddenly, my mom exclaimed, 'What's SHE doing in here?!??!!' It seems a picture of a cheerleader that I had always thought was of mom was of her x best friend who had been dad's 1st girlfriend.... oops! We still laugh about it every anniversary! Thank goodness for modpodge to paste in a new pic!!

  20. I went to tap the bottle of Glossy Accents after using it to release air so the tip didn't clog, and what do you know some it flew up and got on the lenses of my glasses. That stuff does not come off eyeglasses once it has dried. I need to replace my lens.

I love these stamps Karan and would make a nice new home for them, taking good care and showing them appreciation by using them a lot.

  21. Hi there

I a know a follower!! My mishap was I was trying to make a sympathy card and putting a little of glitter on the flowers. I dropped that glitter and thought I got it all cleaned up. Forgot my o check the items next to me. I had glitter all over my purse and jacket. Needles to say I sure were nice and glittery for the funeral

  22. Not being too brilliant to start with, I was heat setting a project and forgot to cover the powder and blew it all over everything! I ended up being brilliant at the end! Rozy

  23. I really love Christmas stamps! My mishap what at a class I was taking. We were working on canvas creating a wall hanging. I had it all done and was using the MM sponge letter stamps with paint to finish the title. When it came to the last letter I got distracted then picked up the letter and place it on the canvas, only to discover that it was upside down! I manager to "cover up" the last word using paint but I sure was frustrated.

  24. I am usually pretty careful in my craft room because I have read so many stories of craft mishaps. My problem is I have too small of a room for my supplies--I am always bumping into a stack of supplies and knocking them over.

  26. What a great prize! I came over from Kathy's blog and just became a followers. The most recent mishap that I can think of was when I had a colored image all matted and ready to put on my card. I left it lying on my paper cutter and one of my daughters (playing around with my things as they all like to do) slip the blade right through the center of the image. Luckily she was too little to push hard and it only scored it instead of cutting through it! I was able to salvage it, but it was a close call. I am also notorious for leaving ink pads open on my desk and accidentally dragging parts of a nearly finish card through them.

  27. Oooh, I love Heartfelt Designs and am thrilled to have found your blog. I am following on Google Friend Connect! As for crafting mishaps...sigh....I have had quite a few over the years. My most common one is when I get a smudge of ink on an almost completed stamped design...argh! I always try to save it by adding another stamped image or a rhinestone etc. At the worst I cut out my image and mount it on another background.

  28. I can't say that I have had any bottles blow up on me or anything that disastrous. I have glued the fronts of cards upside down and smudged my ink. Thanks for the chance to win some super stamps.

  29. Thanks for your amazing giveaway! I love those holiday stamps. The worst crafting mishap was a scrapbooking one. I had adhered a matted photo from our family trip to Hawaii to a half sheet of cardstock that I was going to layer on my page when I decided the card stock piece was too big. So I trimmed it down and didn't realize that another photo had gotten stuck to the back. Oh no....I sliced right through my dad's face in the stuck photo and you can imagine how upset I was! The album I was working on was to be presented to my parents the next day so I carefully pieced the photo back together and finished it as-is. I later replaced the photo but it was almost a disaster!

  31. I have been a follower for a while now, your projects are always wonderful! I always seem to get glue spots on my projects that ends up not drying clear enough to hide.

  32. Beautiful stamp sets! One mishap happened when I was heat embossing an image. It was a silver glitter embossing powder but I overheated it and it took on a rainbow shimmer effect. I pretended that's what it was supposed to look like!

  33. Oh my, crafting mishaps are par for the course, wouldn't you say? I still remember my first boo boo when I learned to heat emboss. I didn't even have a heat gun then (in fact, I don't know if they had even been invented then, lol) and so had to heat my embossed image over my electric stove burner. I was so fascinated in watching the embossing powder melt that I didn't pay close enough attention and I suddenly noticed that the paper was turning brown! It scorched and made a huge mess! I still laugh whenever I think of it.

  34. I love poinsettia stamps!
When I'm using cling or wood-mounted stamps, sometimes I stamp the images upside down...'cause I "forget" to look first...
    Thanks for the giveaway!

  35. I just found your blog and have to say I love your gorgeous layered style! My mishap actually happened two weeks ago. I bought a new bottle of beacon craft glue, which has an inner foil seal. I forgot about the seal and was squeezing and squeezing and POP the glue exploded ALL over my hands and my scissors. I ran upstairs to my sink, but adding water to the mess only made it set faster. It took me 45 minutes to scrape it all off my fingers.

  36. Amazing stamps..

I am not into scrap booking much, I recently started doing it and really love these stamps. I want these plzz... :)

  37. My mishap was after I had been embossing. I set the heat gun down and went on finishing my project when I heard a strange sound. The heat gun had fallen, turned itself on and was burning the carpet.
