Happy Thursday everyone, i just wanted to drop by and update you on the
Mildmay Workshop Day and what it is all about.
Patti is the owner of the Scrapbook Shop in Mildmay. Mildmay is a little Hamlet. A small town nesting among neighboring larger towns where no other scrapbook store resides. A few times each year, Patti holds a crop. This year Patti is trying something different.
Patti has invited 12 Designers in to teach scrapbook classes from cards to mini albums and layouts. All varying scrapbook levels and all different designs. From Basic to advanced, from project life to layered and chunky.
I have been asked to join in the event and i am offering two classes using the Everyday Heros Collection from Heartfelt Creations.
My card class that i am offering in June is below.
This class is being held first thing Sunday Morning at 9:00. All materials will be cut in advance, i will show you how to mold the flowers, the Tahiti ink will be included in your kit and I will have molding mats and Stylus on hand
for those who do not have one.
You will need your basic tool kit along with an Art Institute dries clear, vintage photo distress ink; peeled paint distress ink ( or forest moss) foam adhesive, blending tool
My Layout class is a chunky project dedicated to the man in our lives. This masculine project is full of teals and browns layers of paper and distressed edges. Show Dad you remember him on Fathers Day. This is page one of a double page layout. And will be offered at 1:30 in the afternoon. The kit includes a Glimmer Mist; Tahiti Chalk Ink and Cowboy Glaze for you to achieve all the details.
