Happy Times Together

Hey Friends back today to share with you another card using the cute and whimsical Winking Frog Collection from Heartfelt Creations.  This is more of an altered envelope, but would be perfect for a card too :D



this is an envelop pack that i picked up at a hobby lobby and everytime i hit that place, i always grab another package, i love using them to alter and create layered cards with.

Lots of layered lilies and lily pads, 


using the dragon fly die i cut this out of one of the pattern papers in the collection and added some stickles for detailing

Other Materials: Canson Water Colour Paper; White Cardstock; Diamond Stickles; ictorian Velvet Distress Ink; Peeled Paint Distress Ink; 6x9 enveope, 6x9 piece of chipboard for base support; May Arts Ribbon; Distress Markers in Peeled paint, brushed corduroy; vintage photo, broken china, antique linen, wild honey.  Foam Adhesive. Bowmaker. 1 inch circle punch.


Instruction Cover back of envelope with a 6x9 piece of chipboard for added stability. You may need to remove the tie closure, cover the circles with pattern paper. Cover front and back of envelope with paper form Winking Frog Collection. Cut out Regal Border and Ornate border on a green paper from collection and mat using dies in white. Using Dragonfly die, place on top of dragonfly on one of the papers in the collection, and cut out, shape wings and detail with diamond stickles. Stamp and cut two sets of lily pads on white card with dark brown ink, colour with peeled paint distress ink. Stamp and cut three sets of water lilies also on white card with dark brown ink, colour with Victorian velvet, mold and place white prills in center, detail with diamond stickles. Stamp the Fiddle’n Frog on canson water colour paper, colour using distress markers.  Stamp a second image and colour only frog, using die, die cut it out. Using oval from eyelet oval, cut the large image out as shown, and using the outside cut on dark green paper from collection as shown.  Pop small die cut frog on top of coloured image using foam adhesive.  Cut out a 5x7 card panel from collection and 2 A2 panels, Cut the A2 panels in half, distress edges and attach to either side of the 5x7 panel for added layers. Cover flap of envelop with a 6x6 panel showing a frog basking on the lily pad, and adhere to flap as shown. Add the oval detail die to a 6 1/2  x 4 1/2 piece of pattern from collection just for an added layer,  Attach Regal border and Ornate border as shown tucking in behind the 5x7 layer and the oval layer. Wrap a piece of dark green ribbon around and tie in bow using the Bowmaker. Attach all layers to top of envelope, cut out Happy times together sentiment, pop dragonfly on top right corner of envelope as shown. .  Re attach tie closers before adhering the lily pads and water lilies, then complete altered envelope as shown.
