Under the Sea Flipfold Album

Hello Friends and Happy Wednesday, welcome back to my blog today! I am so glad you dropped by for a visit.  Today's share is a FlipFold Album designed using the Under the Sea Collection from Heartfelt Creations.  I just taught four classes with this collection this past weekend, two classes were a similar album to this one. I have to say, the ladies absolutely love it.

So here is the album, i know i often share a quick video, so i apologize, my design schedule has been just a tad hectic lately and i didn't get time to put a quick video together for you.

Instructions: Cover flipfold inserts with papers from collections, and inserting magnets where needed for closure. Cut papers in collection down to page size and attach flipfold inserts.  Attach wired burlap to front and back of album with hot glue gun, then cover front, back and spine with papers in collection. Stamp and cut, Hibiscus; Delightful Daisy Leaves; colour and mold. Cut out the small flourish from the  Cut mat create die and lightly mold. Adhere go man go prills to stamens on Hibiscus. Stamp and cut the porthole out twice,  so we can layer one on top of the other to form a window with clear cardstock. Colour fish image lightly with sponge daubers. Cut out a circle large enough to fit the back of the porthole, (approximately 3 inches round) layer one image ontop of the other as shown in photo. Cut twine size of album and layer three rows with hot glue gun, tie one strip in a bow. Cut ornate border out on white card, lightly ink with Rose coral chalk ink. Adhere porthole to album cover, and then the ornate border die, leaving room for the hibiscus flowers, leaves and small flourish. Detail with stickles; and use copper pearl pen on porthole for added dimension.

  10. I really wish you or HFC would make a video that shows how to use ALL the flipfold inserts. Not just the B's, which are the easiest, but all of them. I have been making my own albums for two years and thought I would try out your pre-made inserts as the finished products looked so nice, but I cant figure out how to put them together. I can figure out most things but these inserts defeat me.

    1. HI Lesley, im sorry to hear that you have been having a difficult time with the inserts. The inserts will have a 3/4" part on the flip, which is used to attach to the page in the album. You can attach this top or bottom, or either side.
