Seaside Serenity Album - Heartfelt Creations

Todays post is photo heavy!

Hello Friends and welcome to my blog and my last post using the Tropical Paradise Collection. There is a bit of a story behind today's project.  Years ago, prior to my being on the HFC team, i use to design my own kits; one of those kits was a christmas album using a Melissa Frances Tag Book.

So i was cleaning my scrap space, and you know what they say, you find treasures you didn't know you had? Well i found one of these Melissa Frances tag books and thought it would be great for project.  ( will need to get back to my scrap room cleaning another day, LOL!!)

So i got busy, cutting water color paper to match each page, sewed each page onto the pocket part of the book; did water color techniques using distress inks, and using Scrapiniec Chipboard throughout.  I did have a Fab Scraps title and thought it would be perfect too. I used some of Heartfelt background stamps for detailing, mixed in a stamp from the  Tropical Paradise collection and flowers from the Birds and Blooms. The stickers are an older set too ( using my stash) they are from Little Yellow Bicycle ( remember that company) so here is my project, careful todays post is photo heavy

here are some details of the cover

and then finally the inside of the Tag Pocket Album

so inside front cover and first page

2nd and 3rd page

4th and 5th page

page 6 and 7

page 8 and inside back cover

this album really was alot of fund to put together, I had some drying time between, could have used the heat tool tp speed things up, but it was kinda nice to walk away from the table for a bit :D

Until next week

Happy Scrapping!
