Winters Eve Window Card

Its  New Release Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations and we have a winter collection to share with you today.  Its Called Winters Eve.

What i love about this collection is the window die.  There are so many possibilities with this, and one of them is i created shadow box to go with this window die, and i love it. The flower stems in this one, are so fun.  I actually cut all the flowers from their stems to use separately.

love the cardinals from the Festive Holly. I stamped and coloured them and popped them up in this corner like they were looking into the warm fireplace scene.

i was happy i cut all the flowers off their stems , it allowed me to add more details to my corners

i love how this turned out, fits this window die perfectly. The window elements look cut easily and i love the detail in them.

and finally my window card. I stamped and colored the fireplace scene, along with the tree, cut the tree in half; popped it ontop of the firpleace and built the card around that

Happy Scrapping.

Other Materials: Canson water color Paper; Coffee Archival Ink; Foam Adhesive; white cardstock. Distress Inks: Peeled Paint; Ages Mahogany; Vintage photo; Wild Honey; Distress Markers to color images inside window: Pumice Stone; Aged Mahogany; peeled paint; antique linen; wild honey.

Instructions: Card base is 6x6 with a card panel cut from collection.  Die cut out the window elements from white card. Stamp and cut out the cardinals and the fillers all on canson water color paper. I cut apart the flowers from their stems and used them alone on the filler leaves. Color these and mold and set prills in center. Stamp and color the tree and fireplace image on canson water color.  Cut out fireplace image, cut tree in half and pop on top fireplace image. Cut and stamp out the window; and cover with clear cardstock.  Create a box for the window by foaming the back of the stamped fireplace image with two layers of foam; cover the edges with cardstock.  Set side to dry. When dry, ink with vintage photo distress ink, fold and attach to fireplace image. Place clear window on top. Cut bottom window part and fold, ink with vintage distress ink and attach as shown. Tuck in leaves and attach flowers. Placing some on upper right corner, Color cardinals, place in upper left corner.  Place dries white on window as shown and sprinkle crystal clear on top, and set aside to dry. Assemble card as shown and detail with crystal clear and frosting powders.
