Layered Circle Card

Welcome to my blog today, I am sharing a project using one of the items from the special release last week, which is the layered circle card.  This really is a bit of work to complete, but once its done, it looks fabulous.

Here is my take on the layered circle card.  I wanted to create a scene card, one that with each turn of the page, shared a bit about the original scene that you can see from the front of the card.

so here is page one; to create the snow banks, i tore white cardstock to fit each page, used dries white and sprinkled crystal clear on top

Instructions: Follow the steps on Emma Lous video to create the layered card.  Once you have cut out all papers, cover the pages in the album front and back.  Cut and stamp 8 sets of celebrate the season die mini poinsettia and leaves, color and place prills in flower centers. Fussy cut out deer from the papers in the Winters Eve collection and adhere them to the back of the circle pages as shown on my sample.  Cut and stamp out 8 trees of different sizes, color with peeled paint and use dries white adhesive on them to create show with the crystal clear. Use a couple fillers from the winters eve collection and use on cover. Wrap ribbon around album and tie in knot. I cut down strips of white card for all the pages and tore on edges, to add snow banks to my album so each page has this.  I then used dries white on each one and added crystal clear on top.  Decorate layered card pages as you wish, this album was kept pretty basic as i didn’t want to cover up the deer. Cut out sentiment from paper collection and adhere to cover. Detail as you wish with crystal clear and frosting powders.
