You are my Everything - Heartfelt Creations

Hi Friends and welcome back to my blog today. I am continuing with the Sweet Peony Collection for my project today.  The past couple of weeks i have shared a different way of forming the peony flower, this week its a bit more traditional.

I am loving the Eyelet Circle Dies that Heartfelt released, they are so versatile and perfect for adding a shaker card or just some layers, I have used it here on todays card and i find its one of my go tos now.

I was having a chat with someone on facebook the other day and a comment was made about how most of the team does pretty basic projects? I wasnt sure how to respond to that.

If you sit down and grab your ink and papers; then start stamping out what you need or think you need; you start coloring and molding and forming your flowers.  You pull in other dies and layers, then your leaves and stamens...and add fillers, to me, most cards are not basic anymore; this card took me about 4.5 hours to complete. so do you consider that basic? LOL!!

Here is a side view of my card for today

and a detail shot.

Until Next Week with the new Release

Happy Scrapping!

</p><p>
PARAGRAPH 2For Card Base: Card base is 5.5 x.57 on white card. Cut a pattern paper from collection measuring 5.25 x 7.25. Cut a white mat 5x7 and attach on top of base.  Cut a pattern 4.75 x 675 for top panel of card.  Attach to card base.  Using the Eyelet circle set, use the eyelet die on white card and the third largest circle to cut a coordinating pattern.  Cut out the Decorative Medallion Die on white card and adhere this behind the eyelet circle and attach to card front. So it sits just off on the right as shown
</p><p>
PARAGRAPH 3Stamp out 3 sets of the large peony using coffee archival ink on white card. Stamp and cut out 2 sets of the small peony (the largest flower in this set) using coffee archival ink on white card. Cut out the smallest peony on white card and we will use these as fillers as shown.  Color centers of the flowers with sunflower archival ink and outer edges with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink. Pierce in center with paper piercer to make room for stamen and foam buds. Stamp and cut one set of the smallest peony using sunflower archival ink on white card, we will be using these as fillers. Color these using the sunflower ink
</p><p>
PARAGRAPH 4Stamp and cut 3 medium peony leaves using coffee archival ink on white card. Stamp and cut out two of the classic rose vines using archival ink on white card.  Color both with fern green and leaf green archival ink.
</p><p>
PARAGRAPH 5 To mold the flowers I have cut an older molding mat in half and hot glued it together to form a double layer molding mat.  This allows some deeper shaping abilities if the flowers will not fit the 3D shaping molds. Insert the foam bud in the center of the second largest peony placing glue in center, attach another layer of flower then add a layer of the largest peony. Note:  Color the foam buds using the sunflower archival ink.  These will go in the centers Create two large flowers this size. Create four small peony with sunflower ink and use these as fillers.  Insert Pearl Stamen into centers. DO not throw away the cut off wire stems
</p><p>
PARAGRAPH 6Take the stylus tool and wrap the cut off wire around the stylus to form a curly wire piece, insert these throughout the flower clusters to add some detail. Detail all the flowers and leaves with crystal clear. Complete card as I have shown in my sample
