★ You Inspire Me - Cross Promo

Today we are doing a cross promo with Heartfelt Creations and Really Resonable Ribbon.  I use ribbon on alot of my card projects so it was easy for me to incorporate ribbon into these two cards I designed for todays cross promo. Today I am sharing the second card i designed for this Cross Promo.  The Geared up Collection as i mentioned in last weeks post, has been my utmost favorite.  I love the masculine colours; the steampunk look and feel and it was perfect for what i had in mind.

Again, i used Creative Embellishments Chipboard on both cards, below is the detail for my Cre8Art Card.
The toille and the gold thread are both from Really Reasonable Ribbon and you can find the links below.

Instructions: Begin by cutting Grand labels four out on canson water colour paper ( #2) out. Then cut larger #3 out twice, one in green cardstock, one in water colour to back #3) Stamp cogs and Gears precut set onto water colour paper measuring 5x7, and stamp right in the center of the 5x7 using Black Archival ink. Take the dropped paint (splotches ) image from the shifting gears precut set, ink with black archival ink all around the 5x7 image, reinking the image in between when needed. Cut straight on side to measure up with the card back. Stamp the You Inspire Me Plate on water colour paper from the Plates and Gears precut Set using black archival ink onto water colour paper. Cut out using Geared up Die. Ink image with peeled paint, rusty hinge and peacock feathers distress ink and a blending tool in random spots, Cover the entire surface. Ink main stamped image the same way. Add water droplets with your hand to have a rain effect. Tie Really Reasonable ribbon around center twice and tie in double bow. Attach Gold thread from really reasonable ribbon to button and attach button to knot in ribbon, Gesso Creative Embellishments corner chipboard with gesso, heat set. Then ink with distress inks, mist with radiant rain. You may need to shorten this abit but cutting off a small cog on each end. And attach this to the card base. Using the Geared Up Die, cut out 2 large flowers and five small flowers from geared up papers, ink some with ink if needed. I misted with radiant rain solar gold to add some shimmer. Cut out four leaves and ink with peeled paint distress ink, mold using molding mat. Add brads to centers of flowers and added small chipboard cogs as shown and assemble card as shown. When assembled, using Lumiere gold paint and a paint brush, speckle the card by dipping the brush into the gold paint and running your finger along the brush to allow the paint to drop on the card. Be sure to add speckles to all part of the card. Attach to card back and you are done :D
