Dream in Beauty - Heartfelt Creations

Happy Wednesday Everyone, it is New Release Wednesday with
Heartfelt Creations and I have a card to share with you using the Butterfly Medley Dream in Beauty Cling Stamp.


this is an emboss resist technique that i did on this project I have a step out tutorial coming on Friday you will want to be sure to drop on by and check it out

Other Materials: Bazzill White Cardstock; Divine Eloquence Die; Distress Ink in Wild Honey and Peacock Feathers. Two Blending tools with sponges; May Arts Gold Thread; Seam Binding; Trunk Bay Glimmer Mist; Canson Water Colour Paper; Maya Road Trinket Pin; want2Scrap 72 Count White Pearls; Mini Mister, self healing craft mat and knife and craft knife

Instructions: Card base is 4.5 x 11.5 in white cardstock. Cut a mat from one of the papers in the collection 41/4" x 51/4". Ink edges with Tahiti chalk ink. Cut the Divine Eloquence out on white cardstock, and while keeping the die on the cardstock, take a craft knife and cut out the inside of the die so you are only left with the intricate part of the die. Careful Handling with this part of the die, it will tear. Put this aside for now. Take the Dream in Beauty, ink with versa mark, stamp twice on Canson water colour paper. heat with white embossing powder. Take blending tool and blend wild honey and peacock feathers distress ink as shown. When dry, lightly mist image with water mister, or for larger drops, put water in hand and drop it on the image. Let it sit for a min, then take of excess with paper towel. on Second image, colour butterfly only by using blending tool and distress inks. Cut out butterfly using Butterfly Medley Die. Mold with stylus and molding mat. Take Divine Eloquence die and die cut base image. You may need a shim as water colour paper is a bit thicker than cardstock. Place white cardstock die cut piece on top using Art Institute dries clear adhesive and fine metal tip. attach to Pattern Paper. Take a piece of seam binding ( long enough to wrap around card and tie bow) mist lightly with water, then mist with Trunk Bay Glimmer Mist. heat set with heat tool, but be careful not to get too close with the heat tool seam binding will burn. Turn seam binding around so heat tool gets all areas. when dry wrap around card base. tie in bow. Take a piece of gold thread and tie around bow part of the ribbon in second bow, attach trinket pin through knot in bow. Attach cut butterfly to top of card as shown. and Attach to card base. Final touch is to add want2Scrap white pearl swirls.
