Twas the Night before Christmas

Hi Friends and welcome back to my blog.  Its Wednesday and that means we are sharing more inspiration to get your creative juices flowing.  Today i created a card based on the tutorial i shared last Saturday using the fold out card blanks.  And how i turned them into pocket cards.

Here are a couple detail shots :

the inside of the card now that i turned the pockets on the inside of the card

Instructions: Begin by cutting off the two smaller front panels on the 6x6 card. Attach them to inside. Cut borders and papers to match using the Border dies. Cut two journal tags from tag sheet and insert these.  You could stamp additional sentiments on these two panels. Cut out two of the Botanic border die, Use one for base, and second one trim off all the outside edges so you have a thin frame to border the shaker card. Lay the border on a clear piece of cardstock and adhere with dries clear. Attach foam adhesive to back of this and apply a bit of crystal clear powder to make it look like snow in the shaker card. Attach this to the back part of the botanic window die.  Cut and stamp out 7 mini poinsettias along with leaves; stamp and cut a wreath from celebrate the season set. Stamp and cut out two of the holy sprays from the festive holly set. Color and shape all the flowers, leaves and sprays.  Cut out two tags and mat using black card, attach two brads and lightly ink edges with vintage photo ink. Assemble card, detail with crystal clear powder.
