Just Love our Story - 2 Crafty

HI Friends and welcome to my blog today. I am sharing some inspiration again for 2 Crafty Chipboard. I have an altered piece to share with you.

When i was teaching my class at Paper Lane Studio in Sept, i purchased this clock there. Its by Prima ( well i will be buying a few more of these cause i love them)

I designed this as my project for December and here it is. You all know how much i love using clocks; gears and clock images and why; where take a look at this

I have altered alot of clocks in my time and this one has got to be my fav, i think cause i incorporated a photo of hubby and I and managed to print one small enough to fit into the small hand watch clock too.

I used the small clock face chipboard and added some mediums to it to get a petina look; I had some of the cog border left, cut it into two and used it on the top of the clock

the element set i used on the handle of the clock and the title was perfect for this project.

you can see some of the cog border, i cut it so it would fit perfectly ontop of the detail in the clock
I found those gear wings at hobby lobby and knew they would be perfect for a project.

I hope you love this alter as much as i do, until next time,

happy Scrapping!

Product Used:

Clock Face; Just love our Story; element Set; Cog Border

Other Materials:
Prima Clock; gesso; Liquid Acrylic;
Metallic Gilding Polish - Creative Expressions
Mists - Prima and Art Anthology

Love Letters - Mail Album - Scrapboys

Hi friends, i have been working ahead in my Design Team commitments and have created an extra project. I like to work ahead this time of year, so that I can spend more time with my family.

So i designed a Love Letters Album.

This is designed on a mdf album from Scrapiniec. And i love how it turned out. i think it has to be one of my most favorite projects i have ever created. I love the hand made asters on the cover, the work i put into the mediums to have the chipboard look like rod iron, took some patience and drying time. The glaze was giving me some grief but i managed to work with it and added a few layers to get the final look you see below.

So, here are a few peeks. i think i might do a walk through video later on when i finish tweaking the inside.

I really wanted to make some hand made flowers, its been so long since i have done that, i use to love doing that, but my heart was not into it anymore. It can be alot of work to stamp and cut, color and shape and then build the flowers,

this cover alone took me over four hours to build and put together. But seriously, i am in love with this project and so thrilled to share it with you.

i promise to do a walk through and share some inside photos in a little while. but for now, you will have to drool over this.

The cover was a four step paint system from Canvas Corp that i had in box and found while going through and cleaning things up in my scrap book room.

thank you for dropping by and taking a closer look, i hope you love this album as uch as i did putting it together.

Materials:
Scrapiniec - Mail Album
Canvas Corp - 4 step paint system in Metal
Scrapboys - Dream Garden
Heartfelt Aster stamp and Die.

Together - Scrapboys

HI Friends and welcome to my blog today. I havent shared many projects here on my blog using a fantastic company out of Poland. called Scrapboys. I was thrilled to have been selected to join their Design Team and have a layout to share with you.

This is designed on the Dream Garden collection with lots of fussy cutting.

I wanted to add some blooms from 49 and Market, so i toned them down just a bit with gesso.

the fussy cut frame around the photo was perfect and adds incredible detail. I find it difficult this time of year to photograph my projects, even my light box casts some shadows and im not sure why, SO this image below has been lightened.

Thank you to my friend Donna for allowing me to use her family photos to scrapbook!

Cherished Moments - 2 Crafty

Hi Friends and welcome to my blog today. I am sharing some inspiration with you for 2 Crafty Chipboard. I have a step out tutorial on how i altered a couple of the pieces! But first here is my project.

Here is a peek of the project!

Cherished Moments:

to begin, I added some texture paste to the corner piece, painted with Burnet Seinna acrylic paint and added some gold. When i added it to the layout, it was a bit dark so i toned it down with gesso.

the Flourish Shrub i used two of these and heat set using aged ivory embossing powder. Once this was done i cut these into two pieces each to add more leaves to the clusters of flowers.

the adornment piece, i used texture paste, some acrylic paint and toned down with gesso.

For the title, I used paper texture paste and heat set

I hope you have enjoyed todays project, here are the pieces i used today

Leafy Shrub 3:
Cherished Moments title;
Adornment Set; and Mini Corner Set

Other Materials Used:
Stamperia Dreams Paper;

With all Scrapboys collections they have a fabulous element sheet that requires some fussy cutting, i know its not everyones thing, but its not as hard as it looks,

and a peek at a few of the inside pages, which were kept rather simple

thank you for dropping by today, i hope you love this collection from Scrapboys!

Materials Used: Industrial Romance - Scrapboys

Stay Curious - 2 Crafty Chipboard

HI Friends welcome to my blog today. I am sharing a project designed using some fabulous chipboard pieces from 2 Crafty Chipboard.

I was rummaging through some old kits this week and came across some older Graphic 45 Curiosity Shoppe papers and stickers ( remember that collection) i thought it would be perfect for a project, so here is what i have for you today.

I just love using clocks, and cannot get enough of them. Our lives are run by a clock, our work day, our appointments; when we sleep and when we rise, when we eat; all determined by the those little hands on the clocks! that is why i love using clocks!

I wanted to use the geometric arrows as a clock hand but the glass bottles were already glue on so i turned them on their end and love that.

some detail images

 Until Next Time: Happy Scrapping!

Christmas Tag - 2 Crafty

Hi Friends and welcome to my blog today. I am sharing a Christmas Tag with you today. This one measures 4.5 x 8 and is designed with the Christmas in the country paper collection from Prima Marketing. I used some 2 Crafty Chipboard pieces on this gorgeous tag.

With Christmas on my mind i thought it would be nice to create some Home Decor as this beauty  would be perfect sitting on a plate stand with fairy lights around the bottom.

The base is designed ont he Tim Holtz etc tags and these are a very thick chipboard designed for mixed media.

i heat embossed the Reindeer in white; the ornaments were cut apart from the border and used individually and heat embossed with Crimson embossing powder.

the Chicken wire was embossed with Ancient Amber embossing powder. And i cut it in half and it sits on either side of the paper layers.

I love how this tag turned out and i hope i have inspired you to think about your
 Christmas Home Decor!

Until Next Time: Happy Scrapping

Time for Home Christmas Tag - Creative Scrapbooker

HI Friends and welcome to my blog today. I am sharing a Christmas Tag that i designed for Creative Scrapbooker Magazine.  I have been thinking of Christmas Projects and put together this Christmas Tag designed on the Time for Home Paper Collection ( Creative Pad:from Ciao Bella Paper

I first of all need to apologize: I know when i often do a post for Creative Scrapbooker, i always have detail and process images for you to see how i created each step, i took images with my mobile and when i went to move them to my computer, i somehow lost them, i tried for hours to recover them but had no luck, so i apolgize for that and hope that my description through the steps are ok.

Here is my Tag that i put together for you today! I love how it turned out, perfect for a Gift Box;

I started with a Graphic 45 Tag   and Tag Die and I cut a paper from the Time for Home Collection:

I continued to layer two smaller tags which i cut from the collection, as well as one of the clocks; adding brads to coordinate with the Graphic 45 color of the tag I Let.

I decided to fussy cut some birds, lanterns and pine cones from some of the papers:

and the title for the tag came from the Cover sheet of the A4 Creative Paper Pad and found a Blue Jay from the collection, fussy cut it out and used foam adhesive on to add some dimension to the birds

Its difficult to create a project and not used some hand made flowers, so i decided to cut some Poinsettia and Holly Cluster Stamp and Die  from Heartfelt Creations and colored them with Weathered Wood Distress Ink from Ranger: and I coloured the leaves Peeled Paint distress Ink also from Ranger

here is a better peak at the detail in the layers: I added some Prima Marketing Art Stones using a gel medium to add some added texture around the poinsettia clusters.

I love the mini Poinsettia Clusters and wanted to detail the poinsettias, i love how the Deco Art Snow Writer. It just adds the perfect look for a wintery feel to any project. I added this by using a small paint brush, dipping it into the snow paste and lightly brushing it over the poinsettias and other areas of the tag i felt would look great with some added snow.

Here is another peek at the flowers: I love how the snow paste tones down the color of the Distress Ink and adds a snow look to the flowers with just a light brush over.

I hope you have enjoyed my project today!

Until Next Time:

Happy Scrapping:

Ciao Bella Paper - Time For Home Collection
