Hello Fall Photo Folio - Elizabeth Crafts

Hello friends and welcome back! I am here today to share with you a project designed

for Elizabeth Craft Designs. This is using florals 5, on the cover.

I love how this fall project turned out. Here in Ontario, Canada the fall colors have been very vibrant and i wanted to capture the colors in this folio.

The inside of Folio, is a tri fold. I created a photo flip in the center using the Indented Stitched Rectangles, I used Hay Ride( 1909) on the right page inside as and love those pumpkins.

This is what the folio looks like when you open the cover, The paper is from Simple Stories and i didnt want to cover up those gorgeous pumpkins just yet, so i might just leave this page empty.

The Stitched Indented rectangles are perfect for this photo flip, i cut four of them and scored the top over 1/2" to score and fold over to create the flip.

its a gorgeous little mini and I love how it turned out.

The detail on those pumpkins is fabulous and this little Hay Ride was a great addition to this project.

The flowers turned out beautiful. Die cut on Soft Finish Cardstock, colored with distress inks and seed beads in the center.

Thank you for dropping by today, I hope i have inspired you to create a folio on your own.

Karan

You Are Amazing - Creative Scapbooker

Hello friends and welcome to my blog. Today i am sharing a fall card
designed for Creative Scrapbooker.

Here in Ontario, the colors have taken over the trees and bright oranges, yellows and reds are all over our island. It sure is a beautiful site to see. My card is inspired by those beautiful fall colors and i
wanted to show you how i created this.

To begin with, we will need to cut out some florals and leaves from Florals 5. (large, medium small, 2 small as well as some leaves) I cut these out on water color paper from Canson.

I am using the Watercolors from Elizabeth Crafts as well to color.

I used the water brush that comes with the set to color using permanent yellow.
( second row, second from left) and I colored the leaves the Yellow Green
( third row, third color from left)

shaping them with the Golf tool from Dress My Crafts allows me to give the paper a groove in the middle of the petals. Turn the petals and leaves over and lighten moisten from the back

I used threaded pollen from Dress my Crafts to detail my floral centers. When i had all my flowers assembled, i dabbed a bit of snow paste on to add a little texture and detail with glitter on top.

above and below are some detail images of the photos

This Quote Stamps are my favorites to add sentiments to my card so i stamped You Are Amazing using Peeled Paint distress ink and used the stitched fishtail to cut it out.

Below is my finished card

I would love to see your take on florals using water colors. It is a great way
to create fabulous flowers.

All Roads Lead Home at Christmas - Mini Album

Hello Friends and welcome back to my blog today. I know it has been a long time since i have done any mini albums, and they are, honestly by far, one of my most favorite projects to do, This one os designed on the new Foundations 2.0 Mini album ( i could only get my hands on black) From 49 and Market.

I used the Vintage Artistry Peace and Joy Mini Collection in this mini and i love the colors and how it turned out.

I only had the mini kit to work with, so i think i did pretty good in creating this adorable little mini. the flowers i had in my stash along with the metal embellishments i used on my cover, I will add pages from the inside, starting from front, inside cover, to the back inside cover.

front inside cover i added a magnet to the photo pocket, and on first page i scored the page at 4" added a couple magnets to create a fold out page. The laser cuts are beautifully done and add a easy embellishment.  The border punch is from my stash and it works beautifully throughout the album.

page 2 and 3 i create fold out pockets, and then tuck in pockets using y border punch. adding a few laser cuts to embellish the pages. There is a double fold out i did not photograph under the right page, it has the song paper from the collection and a couple border punches for a side pocket. quite simple, yet elegant.

That tree page is fabulous for the tree laser cut and the dear. the photo frame is just tacked on so i can add photos when im ready. the mirror page i created a fold and added magnets to the fold out.

detail of the tree page with those deer, reminds me of my own back yard right now. We always see deer here in the north.

i added snow paste to both pages and sprinkled with glitter. I also added a border punch, it really finishes off that edge.

the inside back cover and last page. I used one of the pockets for the inside back cover, Its so awesome that there is a template in the back of the pockets you can cut out to get the perfect side for the cover paper on those pockets. A few laser cuts to adorn the pages and a border punch to finish off that pocket.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing this great mini, until next time.

Happy Scrapping!

What One Loves: Elizabeth Crafts

Good Morning Friends and welcome back to my blog today. I am happy to share a card with you designed using Florals 13.

Here is how i began creating my card.

i started by selecting some papers and using dies from the Stitched Indented Rectangles

I then used the stitched circles and cut a sentiment, matting it in a coordinating paper and matting it on the color i used for my base

Using Soft Finish Cardstock die cutting three sets of each size as i wasnt sure how many i would need.

coloring the florals with Victorian Velvet and the leaves with Peeled Paint Distress Ink, i set about assembling my florals

assembling the card and tucking in the leaves in and around the flowers.

Here is a side view of the card and once completed i decided to add some snow paste to detail the florals and leaves, i find it gives it nice texture too. I used stamens to my centers.

I love how this turned out and i would love to see your take on Florals 13.
