Found Objects - Dusty Attic

Hello Creative Friends and welcome back to my blog today as i share a mixed media project for Dusty Attic based on this months moodboard.

This months mood board is filled with oranges and browns and a bit of green. I altered a liqueur bottle using some of my favorite mechanical pieces.

I blended in a few industrial pieces on the front and sides of the bottle.

using mediums from prima, rust, fluid acrylics and wax, i put this together. Layering pieces o the front of the bottle.

I love how this turned out and it now sits in my scrap space.

I hope you give this months mood board a try

Holiday Wishes - Memory Journal - 49 and Market

Hello Creative Friends, welcome back as I share with you a  project designed on the new Memory Journal and the gorgeous Holiday Wishes Collection for

49 and Market.

Using the Black Memory Journal as my Base, I added in the Black Inserts A and B,  along with the Ephemera Bits, Chipboard Set and Rub on Transfers, i was able to add alot of detail, photo flips and mats to this beautiful Memory Keeper all ready for photos.

I die cut a few of the flips in the albums with dies from my stash, adding some what paint splatters along the way to give this album the snowy, wintery appeal.

The ephemera was great to add photo mats, tucked tags and great details to finish this off.

Above is the front inside first page. Using the Transfer rub ons, i also added the die cut truck to mimic the gorgeous truck in this collection.

Merry Christmas Mini Album - Scrap and Me

 Hello Creative Friends

Today i have some news to share with you. I have been invited to join the

Scrap andMe Design Team for the next 6 months.

I have been waiting patiently for my Design Team Box to arrive. I dug into Magic Christmas and created this gorgeous Mini Album.

Here are some images from the Album

I used a 49 and Market Foundation Album along with an the Envelope insert which I also covered in the gorgeous papers from the Magic Christmas Collection

Above is the first flip open, i added in some pockets on either side of the album and added more flips in the middle.

I used some of the fussy cut elements and layered them on a few of the photo mats.

Above, is the center top flip open and its a beautiful mini album

I hope you are inspired to create with the Magic Christmas Collection.

For the Record - Mini Album - Elizabeth Crafts

Good Morning Friends, welcome back to my blog today as i share with you a mini file folder album i created with the new release "For the Record" From

Elizabeth Craft Designs.

When i first received the prototypes of the new release, i instantly wanted to create a mini album with it. I used the all of the new release dies, except one and the stamps too. This post will be photo heavy,

For the cover, I cut one of large file pages in half to create a tab page.  All i did to do that, was to cut of a 3/4: piece off the left side, and line up the holes and punched it with a crop o dile. The cover was done that way and I used the Alphabet Tabs to create a title adding vellum to the back.

Above is the inside front cover and view of the first page. I used the Curved Library Pocket using the cut out in the front and covering that with vellum.

I also stamped some mini tabs from the Filler cards and tucked those in the pocket, I used the filler cards throughout the mini.

I used some 49 and Market Ephemera and chipboard to add even more detail to the mini and some rub on transfers from the Serenity Collection.  And Above i used the mini tab pages, and used those in the album too.

Those vellum pages with the rubon transfers turned out so awesome

Just to add a decorative page in this mini and it looks amazing.

I have to say I am in love with how they look on vellum, like SERIOUSLY!! Do they not look fabulous on vellum!! ok back to the mini

I used some of the filler cards here and stamped a couple of them too

on this page i used the filler cards again and the alphabet tab, and i used the negative, dont throw those out, you can use those letters

More of the filler tabs and i had to use another vellum page as i was so in love with how the first one turned out,

I hope you enjoy my project share today, and give the new :For The Record" a try and create some mini albums of your own. These would make a perfect stocking stuffer too.
