Remember Today - Dusty Attic

Hello Creatives and welcome back! Today i am sharing a project for Dusty Attic.

This project is based on this months mood board, which is filled with bright and vibrant colors.

Using a photo of my nephew and at the time this photo was taken, his fiance, who are now married. I added sepia tones to the photo and then added in some layers. The colors in this collection make this months mood board easy to work with.

Beginning with some mystic flourish flame, i set the photo on that, then added bookplates, and Mystic Flourish in and around my flowers

I set my title on the florals painting it a light blue using chalk paint.  I cut apart the mystic flourishes and added then in and around my flowers.

You still have time to try out this months mood board.

Love this Most - Mini Album - 49 and Market

Good Morning creative friends welcome back to my blog today.  I am sharing a mini album with you using the gorgeous Plum Grove on one of the Foundations Albums.

To begin with, i painted all the inside pages in a light purple color and let that dry, i then covered the front and back of the album with the beautiful Fabric Tape. What a quick and easy way to give your mini albums some incredible color.

I did the same on the spine, using the smaller fabric tape strips

Here are some photos of the inside of the mini album. Plum grove has some amazing colors that suit the fall colors here in Ontario. And i hope to fill this album with photos taken this fall.

Using the Laser Cuts throughout the album added great color and layers. Along with the Ephemera, and file folders to tuck in added photos. I used fabric tape again on the inside spine to blend those spaces.

The Ephemera is a great way to add some small details to your frames and photos without making your mini album too bulky.

**I see in some of the photos the washi tape started to peel back from the album cover, so i will need to go back and use a dries clear adhesive in some spots**

I hope you create some beautiful projects with this collection.

Shine Brightly - JMA Mindful Art

Hello Friends and welcome back to my blog today as i share  a watercolor card using a slimline stamp from Jenines Mindful Art - Inner Peace Collection.

I began by stamping the image onto Canson Water Color Paper,

I selected distress inks i wanted to work with and began coloring using a water color brush.

I also detailed the shadows using Zig Water Brush colors

once i was happy with the colored image i die cut it using the slimline die and then applied splatters using white acrylic paint and sparks gold paint.

Thank you for dropping by, i hope you have enjoyed my card today. It is colored very similar to one i shared last week, i will post both side by side bleow

Amidst The Roses - Scrap and Me

Hello friends and welcome back to my blog as i share  a layout designed using Amidst the Roses from Scrap and Me.

Fussy cutting out flowers from the flower sheer, i layered these on the right side of the photo to add interest

I layered the fussy cut images using foam adhesive and love how this turned out.

I decided to add some hand made roses using a florals 16 from Elizabeth Crafts.

Here is the final layout, i did not put a title on it as i wanted the photo to capture the layout and i love how this turned out.

Thank you for dropping by.

Be Authentic - Elizabeth Craft Designs.

Hello Creative friends and welcome back to my blog today sharing my monthly project with you for Elizabeth Craft Designs.

I have put together a card using florals 6, the beautiful leaves from Planner Essentials 55 and Stitched Rectangles.

The base, i bet you/re wondering, is a MDF panel, which is a gate, i primed and gave it a coat of Mintay Breeze. that color coordinates with the colors in the paper collection so well.

I cut about 3 of each size, small medium and large so i could get a very full flower.

To achieve the look on the florals, i used sprays and patina alcohol ink. I first colored parts of the florals with peacock feather distress ink. and used peeled paint distress ink on the leaves.

I also added some snow paste on them to add some texture.

I used the beautiful papers from Mintay Papers, in the Grandmas Attic collection, what a beautiful collection it is. I used Dragons eye Spark paint from prima on the leaves which i cut using the planner essentials  55  set.

I hope you like my project share today. Have you tried creating flowers with florals 6 lately?  Until next time, Happy Scrapping!

the 1 x 12 rub on transfers are perfect to add an oversized title, I added some white splatters on top

I blended in some florals, bluejay and and Jade, which i felt, really complemented the photo.

I used some of the laser cuts to layer under the photo,  to add more detail. Layering and tucking them in on the right top of the photo
