Merry Christmas/Noel Reverse Canvas- 12 days of Sizzix

 Hello Creative Friends:

Sharing my Day 11 of the #12daysofsizzix

Day 11 was all about Wall/Mantle Decor. I wanted to share this reverse 8x8 canvas I put together using the new Evergreen Collection from 49 and Market along with a few of my favorite Sizzix Dies.

I really wanted to work with The Wise Men (663127) and Seasonal Sketch (666719). The Vault Classic topped this all off and I blended in laser cuts and a card panel. The best part of this is, it lights up using tiny lights from Tim Holtz.

Rhea and I are working on some ideas to turn this into a Advent Calendar.

Tis the Season - Christmas Card

 

I have been playing with the Vault Winter Wishes from Sizzix and have this card to share with you. I began by stamping the craft cardstock with the Perfect Plaids Stamp CMS383.

I then spattered white acrylic pant and Fossilized Amber Distress Spritz on top of that. I am loving that Layered Plaid Die so i added a layer on top of the craft.

The Snowflake is beautifully detailed. I found some rustic ribbon in my stash and tucked some in under the snowflake. I think it grounds it a bit more and shows the detail in the die cut. I used the Bold Tidings Mini and die cut that using the Vintage Tag and Banners .

Day 3 -12 days of Sizzix - Merry Christmas

 Hello friends

Sharing my Day 3 of the #12daysofsizzix!

Day 3 was all about Wreaths!

I wanted to share the card I created using the Vault Festive Wreath. I die cut the wreath out three times and adhered them all together.

I did the same with the wax on the candles. I wanted the wax part of part of the die, to look realistic, so i dabbed the edges with antique Linen Ink; heat embossed this with UTEE and dipped it in three times, and set aside to dry.

I layered in elements from the 49 and Market Evergreen Collection and tucked them in and around the candles. This is all layered on top of the Layered Plaid Die, ( FYI, I love how it cuts!)

I have that adhered to vellum ( really i wanted to mute the pattern background from the ever green collection just a bit to give it a snowy look; I then die cut elements from the Festive Wreath set as well. I wanted to pop the wreath a bit so i die cut a circle in vellum and backed the die cut wreath on that.

That bow which i die cut in red cardstock, just tops this sweet card off!

Christmas Card Class with 49 and Market / Sizzix

Hello Fall - Card for 49 and Market/Sizzix

The day is here ! Time for a new collaboration between @sizzix and @49andmarket - 11 new amazing designs by Katie Pertiet.

I have put together this card using a few from the release to show you how easy it is to create stunning layers on your cards. 

Part of the release is perfect for fall with its leaves and pumpkins. 

I began by die cutting out the leaves and coloring with a dauber. I used a tag from the chipboard set of Vintage Orchard. and Stamped a sentiment on it using black archival ink. 

I stamped and die cut the bird and two tickets and then added some color to them. 

I really love the envelopes in the ephemera pack, but wanted something that was more muted than what was available in the ephemera pack, so i traced one out onto a pattern paper i like and fussy cut it out.
