Lush Lilac Release - Heartfelt Creations

Hi Friends, welcome to my blog today. Today we are showcasing a new release with Heartfelt Creations, and its a gorgeous Spring Collection. The Lush Lilac.

I love the smell that Lilacs have; I remember as a child growing up, there was a huge lilac tree just outside our back porch and every morning you could smell their sweet scent.

Here is my first project with this collection: I used the shadow box and created an oversized card.

love that cottage scene on the papers,

>Instructions:
PARAGRAPH 1 Base is 8.5 x 11 folded in half. Cut paper to fit base. Cut out papers for shadow box and cut a 5x5 panel for inside.  Strips are approximately .5 x 5.25 for each end.  Adhere box together once all papers are all attached. Using luggage and tag die cut out two tags from collection and ink edges with vintage photo attch brads and adhere this to back of shadow box

PARAGRAPH 2Cut and stamp out three sets of lush lilac and all other elements I used. Color with distress inks and insert stamens into flowers.  Attach flowers to the lilac branch, I have one on the outside of the box and one on the inside.

PARAGRAPH 3 On the note image I used a water brush to color the image and then a dauber on ink to highlight the edges. Finally detail all flowers with crystal clear and finish assembly.

I think the elements from the wildwood cottage set match these little fairies perfectly s oi combined them together. I used my inks and a water brush to color the images,

The wildwood florals are my go to flower right now and i use them alot, mostly because of all the different sizes in them.

Hope i have inspired you this week, Until next time!

Happy Scrapping!

Instructions:
Base of card is 6 x10. Fold so you have a 6” base and a 4 inch front.  On the front, place the border die down and die cut using the fleur border.  Cut a pattern piece of paper to match and adhere together.  Cut a 6x6 card panel for inside and lightly ink edges with vintage photo.

Cut and stamp all your elements with coffee archival ink on canson water color paper, color using distress inks. For flowers use antique linen in centers and Abandoned coral on outside. Pierce center to make room for stamen. Mold using the 3D mold and set stamen in center with a touch of glue. Stamp and cut the classic rose vine and cut into three.  Add crystal clear to all flowers and leaves.

Color the fairy garden and the umbrella in coordinating colors.  I tried to match the colors in the bird image on the card panel. When done I used nuvo clear drops on the fairy garden wings.  Attach all your elements as shown in my sample. Look for sentiment and mat with canson paper adhere to card. Assemble card and detail with crystal clear.
