Travel the world - Album Class for Feb 2019 Cruise

Hi Friends,

I hope you are having an awesome Wednesday so far!

When i began looking for ideas for my classes, I knew i wanted to do a travel themed album so that my cruisers would have a memorable keepsake to hold all their photos from their cruise.

The flowers are handmade! Using #heartfeltcreationsstamps and dies. I will be showing you how to shape and mold these flowers!

I also knew this chipboard was perfect for the cover. So with that being said, I have some great news for those who are joining me on my Cruise & Crop cruise in #Feb2019. Aboard #adventureoftheseas

I have forwarded my album sample images onto ScrapiniecScrapiniec are now Sponsoring my album class.

So thrilled about that.  If you would like more information on my cruise, I know we are low on availability, so please contact Cruise & Crop directly! Here is the link to the Cruise Info:

Believe in Yourself - Altered Pallet

HI Friends

Hope you are well; i have another mixed media piece to share with you today.  This is another wood pallet and I purchased this on and the heart below at the same time, thinking one day i would love to do something with them. Well, i pulled out some metal embellishments, some chipboard and off i went

This wood pallet measures 8x8. Here is how i finished it, its a bit darker than i anticipated, but i just love how it turned out.

as for embellishments, there is some Icraft wood elements; 49 and Market archival board; some metal mechanicals from finnabair; some resin pieces, some gears from the dollar store and the butterfly, is from Flying Unicorn, i remember it came from ther as its been a favorite set of mine i had stashed away, and unfortunately no longer available.

Here is how i started this piece

you wouldnt think that all those different colors of metals, wood, resin and chipboard would blend together in the end, but it looks fabulous.

I then gave everything a coat of black gesso; went over with white gesso when dry.  I should have gave the corrugated cardboard a coat of black gesso, but it turned out just fine.

and some detail images

I went around the edge of the pallet with some washi tape just to finish it off.

Hope you have enjoyed my project for you today

Happy Scrapping
