Lazy Days of Summer - 49 & Market

Hi Friends, i know it has been one hot summer here in my neck of the woods so today i was staying cool and was getting things checked off my calendar.  I had a set of stamps from 49 and Market i have been itching to use and created this card today.

I used canson water color paper to stamp and heat emboss the hibiscus flower images on and colored using only three colors of Zig Clean Brush Markers
Pink: Tea Rose and Olive. along with a water brush, that is it!

I used one of Spellbinders stitched square dies to start.

I incorporated one of the archival board from 49 and Market and used the fern leaves throughout to add some added detail and layers.   I used the moroccan style archival board as part of my base and I splattered some gold glimmer mist to add some background detail.

Have an awesome day!

Materials Used:
Valeries Hibiscus Summer Stamp
Archival Board - Remember Today

Canson Water Color Paper; Black Archival INk; Versa Mark Clear; Nuvo Gold Embossing Powder

HI Friends, and welcome to my blog today. I am up on the Creative Scrapbooker Blog today and i have a tag to share with you.  One of my most favorite techniques to do on tags is the "smooshing" technique and i did that and created my background here on the tag below.

Tags are perfect to attach to gift bags; to a layout, they are just as easy to create as a card and you can have lots of fun creating them.

Here are some detail images of the tag:
