Since i have been married, ( 1995) I have supported my husbands business. Glenn was a Concrete Contractor and Agricultural Builder. I assisted him by managing accounts receivable and payable and prepping T4's as well as year end for our accountant. From this part of my life, i am retired. ( at least i hope so ( haha)
In 1997, i was invited to a Creative Memories Party by a neighbor where we lived in Sebringville, and i fell in love with the idea of putting photos into albums. Adding titles and decorative pieces to enhance the photo. Growing up I only have a handful of photos of myself and my siblings that I wanted to capture memories for our family. I would have never guessed I would become a project designer in the paper crafting industry. I found a hobby i really loved and began going to "crops" and have met so many wonderful people as a result of this hobby.
In 2009, I took a chance and applied for my very first design team. Not knowing if i had what they were looking for, but I was given an opportunity and that set me on my love for Paper Crafting and I began designing for some of the top brands in the industry.
Over the years my style has evolved and I found a passion for smaller projects, what began as a love for scrapbooking, grew into a passion for cardmaking and mini albums. During the past few years, I also enjoyed creating A5 planners.
Creating cards and handmade florals ( since 2013) for the past 11 years, truly impacted my passion for cardmaking.
I am always asked where my inspiration comes from, for me, its in the products i work with. My mind begins to swirl with ideas when i see the samples of the new releases through the brands i work with. But once i have them in hand, the true fun begins. Pulling paper and dies, inks and mediums, to design something I am proud of.
I am a dimensional Gal, i love layers and chunky projects, rarely will you see a single layer project from me. If chunky is your style, then you have come to the right place for inspiration.
Creating makes me happy and sharing it with others brings me so much joy. I am so glad you have dropped by to check out my blog.
When I’m not in my scrapbook room. you can find me at our beach, putting my feet in the sand, or out with our furry family members. I am often spending time with my extremely supportive husband, Glenn or our two sons, Elijah and Galen. I love my family.
My hope is that this blog helps you to “find your creativity” and discover how your own creations can bring you joy.

In 2018, we considered the option to retire and began our plan to do just that. Now if you ask hubby, he will say he is not retired, but what i can tell you, is he sure is, he is just doing smaller scales of the large dairy barns he built for 39 years.
We talked about what we wanted in our retirement and we knew we both wanted to be on the water. We purchased 10.5 acres of waterfront property on beautiful St Joseph Island 8 hours north of where we lived in Sebringville, Ontario, and here, we have built our retirement home.
