Good morning friends and welcome to my first post for 49 and Market.
I have a layout to share with you using the Mango Paper collection along with rubons, and their gorgeous blooms.
This past fall my family and I ventured on a train tour of Agawa Canyon, this is a canyon here in northern Ontario that you can only access by train. The views were spectacular and this photo is one of Bridal Veil Falls.
To begin with i used the Mano Paper Collection and selected papers i felt would work best with my photo.
Using a coordinating paper i cut out the shape to coordinate with the background chipboard. This large chipboard is from P13.
I loved the window laser cut from the collection and added some distress ink and used this as my focal point. I printed out the photo twice, one to fit the window, and the second for the window to adhered to.
I really wanted the view of the waterfall to capture your attention.
Using the cranberry florals as well as the butterscotch sugar petals i selected one florals that would coordinate best with my photo and other elements i used tucking them in and scrunching them up to suit my layout.
I cut out the butterflies and a couple florals from the rubon sheet and put them on cardstock, cutting them out and added some shape to the butterflies so they look more realistic. I then dabbed the tips of their wings with snow paste just to add some texture.
Using Dusty Attic Chipboard for the Title, i colored it with acrylic paint and dusted some snow paste on top of the chipboard and my florals. Adding in some art stones for detail and dimension.
I hope you enjoy my first project share with you today and I look forward to seeing you again soon.
Until then
Happy Scrapping!
