Thank you Card- ECD

Good Morning Creative Friends and Happy Victoria Day Weekend for my Canadian Friends: I hope you are enjoying time with your family or in your craft room creating and having fun!

I am here to share a card today for Elizabeth Craft Designs, this is card 22 of 52

For this weeks card, i revisited one of the cards I created at the beginning of the year using Florals 31 ( Happy Birthday )

If you have been following me a while, you know how much i love to create roses and peonies. There are some of my favorites to create.

For this card I used the soft finish cardstock and die cut it first using the Stitched Rectangles. Using Saltwater Taffy, then I blended in Shabby Shutters and Peeled paint (all three colors were used on the leaves and florals too)

With Spring  here , well almost here,. our snow is gone, but temps have been off and on. ( we have had such strange weather this spring, and we have yet to see leaves on our trees here in Northern Ontario.

I then splatter white paint and gold metallic paint on the card then ran it through an embossing folder from Spellbinders.

I added in greenery from the Autumn Foliage and die cut smaller florals from the Panicle Hydrangea. I love the flower basket from Floral Foliage 1 , and with many of us getting our deck baskets and yard gardens ready, i wanted to put these peonies in a basket.

The stamens are from my stash as are the small gold beads used on the filler florals.

I used the Thank you from the Autumn Greetings Stamp Set and added a sentiment.

Thank you for dropping by today, I hope i have inspired your card and floral creativity today.
