Merry Christmas - 49 and Market & Sizzix

Hello Creative Friends:

I am here to share a make designed using the new release from 49 and Market in connection with Sizzix.

I did some smooshing on most every layer on the card from the background, to the trees, and the frame. The acetate is covering that gorgeous rust look I achieved but it looks really cool.

I used the Candy Strips Stamp Set (667010) for my background. I first took a piece of water color card and colored it with Bundled Sage distress ink, did some smooshing with water. I then stamped the Candy Strips stamp and heat embossed with white embossing powder .

I have an acetate layer under the frame from the Snap and Swap Merry Christmas ( 667016). I added in some Christmas lights from the same set to add some detail to the banner.

I hope you have fun creating with this set, it was fun to make and I hope i have inspired you.

In my Heart - Sizzix & 49 and Market Folio

Good afternoon Creative Friends, I am back to share another project using the new release from 49 and Market in Connection with Sizzix

I used the new Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 10PK - Laced Folio by 49 and Market as my base on the gorgeous Natures Haven Paper collection.

and I added in a few others to complete this folio. I will have the list below. I die cut the poinsettias and colored them to match the florals on the paper from Natures Haven.

I added in the photo frame from 666744 Journal Essential Pages, and added some photo flips to the inside right of the folio

( cause ya know, i like to be different,) *wink*

photo above is the inside right of the folio. I cut down the die cut pockets to fit my folio vertically. I then cut tags to tuck in the pockets.

I used papers from 49 and Market One perfect Day! You know Christmas Cards are not always about using traditional colors. I designed to give this sweet card a vintage look.

Merry Christmas - 49 and Market & Sizzix

Its an exciting day today! The holidays just got a whole lot merrier!

The brand-new 49 and Market in connection with Sizzix has just launched their holiday release and it’s packed with everything you need to make your season crafty and bright.

I have a Christmas Card to share with you which I created by using a ghost stamping technique using the Trees from the Trinkets and Trees Set.

I love how this card came together. Here are the products I used.

In My Heart - Sizzix

Hello Creative Friends:

I wanted to share another Mini Junk Journal I put together.

"In My Heart"

This is designed using the Eileen Hull Designs Handbound Journal (666882) for Sizzix. I used the Sizzix Mat board in White for the base after covering the front and back cover for the base. I used white elastic thread to bind the spine and pages.

The beautiful paper is the "Urban Blue Denim" - Lu-Mania by Ciao Bella Paper. Its vintage, floral design was perfect for this great little mini.

I added some layers of paper to the cover and fussy cut one of the butterflies from the collection. I love how this turned out, and cannot wait to share images of the inside pages soon.

I hope i have inspired you to create a Handbound Journal using Eileen Hull Designs Journal Dies. They cut through matboard like butter!

Follow Your Heart

Hello Creative Friends:

I recently got my hands on Lu Mania Time Capsule - Junk Journal Paper designed by Ciao Bella Paper. I love this collection! It's perfect for all your paper crafting projects. Especially any Junk Journal project.

I put this Junk Tag Book together using the new Sizzix Snap and Swap Large Tag Dies ( 666826) by 49 and Market.

I created a hinge to tie all the tag pages together. I also put my laminator to work and laminated some of the elements i fussy cut from the Ephemera Pages in the collection.

I hope i have inspired you to use those Snap and Swap Dies,

they are a great size for a mini tag book.

Art Therapy in Progress - Sizzix

Good morning Creative Friends and welcome back to my blog.

Today I am sharing with you a totally unique project designed using the new release from Eileen Hull for Sizzix.

I have to admit, i often look at a color wheel and see Windmills. So i though why not do that. My background was inspired by Team Member Chris Collins, who shared a tag where the background was embossed on Mat board.

What an awesome technique ( Thank you for the inspiration Chris) and she mentioned it was Eileen who inspired her, so Eileen back at you for this awesome technique.

I cut a tag using the Mat board, then embossed a couple areas using the die from 666880 Rainbow Wheels

I used the Stamp Set 666881 - Swatch Cards and heat embossed and stamped the large color wheel and the smaller wheel stamp.

I layered 6 die cuts to create the windmill, and set this on vellum. The Windmill stand was cut from cardstock and i used rust paste to age it and resemble metal.
