Dust off your favorite classic die sets and craft a breathtaking, three-dimensional bouquet card that looks like a freshly arranged vase of flowers! Step 1: Die-cut your florals, leaves, vase, and any other greenery you wish to use. I often have a full bouquet on my cards and really use the greenery dies for fillers all the time.
Step 2: I am coloring all the florals using a blend of 49 and Market Watermelon Ink and Ranger Archival Tea Rose Ink. The stamens, which I cut from the Poinsettia (2269), are also colored the same way. When I shape the florals, I lightly scrunch the petals together to get lots of dimension in my petals.
Step 3: To create some small flower buds, I cut 6 of the smallest flowers in the Rose Set, three I colored with Peeled Paint Ink, and three with a blend of Watermelon and Tea Rose Archival Ink. The three green ones are for my base, and one is for the bud. I use my hot glue to assemble the buds and set them aside to dry.
Step 5: Assemble your card. I often begin with my largest greenery, then add my florals on top. I most often cut apart some of my greenery and tuck it in spots where I feel I may need a filler. The smallest of details you add to your cards can have the biggest impact when it's all completed.
