Hello Happiness - 49 and Market & Sizzix

 Hello Creative Friends:

Its reveal day!! 49 and Market and Designer Katie Pertiet have teamed up with Sizzix! They have been working behind the scenes and today I can share my first project. How easy is it to create cards with the new stamps and dies using your stash of rub on transfers, ephemera and washi tape?
SUPER EASY!

The Painted Pencil Butterfly is stamped on ephemera and heat embossed, die cut out. The background and tags are ephemera from the Krafty Garden Collection.

There are rub ons on the butterflies and background and I added in some washi and chipboard hearts. And topped that off with some splatters.
I will be sharing more projects in the coming weeks!

Fabulous Day - Uniquely Creative- Accordian Album

Hello Creative Friends and welcome to my blog. Today I am sharing a project i designed  for Uniquely Creative. Last month they sent me a parcel to create with, as they were for the first time exhibiting at Namta.

I was sent Wisteria Lane along with an Accordion Album. I used pretty much most of the papers, the cuts and quite a few of the vellum cuts. I really wanted to "stick" to what i was sent without using anything from my stash

first page i created a belly band and tucked in a couple photo mats, i embellished the band with some of the creative cuts.  Page 2 had some floral in the top corner so i embellished on top of that and you can tuck in a photo right under neath the cluster.

this this page i used some of the left over pieces on the fifth page and create a double side  photo flip on the 6th page.

On the reverse of the Album, I have a side belly band on this page and you can tuck photos in under the band. I embellished the top of the band with some creative cuts.

This page i created a fold over magnetic belly band and embellished the top of it with some cuts and it holds two photo flips secure.

A pull out photo mat on the left and a belly band on the right

It was a great little project to put together and I hope I  have inspired you.

Happy Times - Mini album - 49 and Market

Hello Friends, it is Karan Gerber here to share with you a hand made album for 49 and Market.

The album measures 8.5 x 8.5 and i have designed is so that the pages have side pocket to add more room for photos. For this album I used the gorgeous Kaleidoscope Collection.

I used some of the laser cuts and ephemera on the cover. I also tucked in a chipboard tag and used one of the chipboard sub titles here too. I layered all of these some, i kept flat, others i added just a bit of foam for dimension.

Using some of the 12 x 12 along with the 6x8 papers, i was able to combine some strips that added some colorful options to tuck in photo mats.  Some of the ephemera pieces, i layered and used my tiny stapler to staple some of the clusters i created together.  This really helps to save on some bulk in your albums.

It is so easy to create some fabulous pages tucking in ephemera, laser cuts, and even a Stacked Frame or two throughout to tuck in some photos. When i was all done i thought adding some paint splatters just to add some texture and detail.

I hope I have inspired you to used the Kaleidoscope Collection for your next album project.

Thank you for dropping by today!
