Hello Creative Friends and welcome back, today i am sharing a layout designed for 49 and Market. This is designed using the gorgeous Viken Collection.

The photo is of my hubby taken in Panama City Florida years ago on family vacation. I used the frame from the Ephemera Bits to Frame the photo and build my florals around. The twilight florals are perfet for this collection.

I used some tags from the chipboard Tag Set as well as the Tag Set to add layers.

The laser cut pieces i used to further frame my photo, adds a great layer on which to build your flower clusters and the leaves peak out enough to give more color and contrast.

Hello friends and welcome back to my blog today sharing a project for Elizabeth Craft Designs using Florals 11, as my flowers for this gorgeous card.

Coloring the florals from the center out this time using Victorian Velvet Distress Ink and setting stamens from Dress my Craft in the center.

I wanted to add some stamped leaves in there and used the Kindness Stamp and Die and stamped out some leaves and the dandelion looking image using peeled paint, die cut them and just left them white, what a great detail and layer they add to this card, don't you think?

The stitched circle, i backed with acetate and cut the intricate die from The Book out twice, cutting off the outside edge and lining the two die cuts up to fill the circle which worked perfectly.

I decided i wanted even more detail and used the vine from the Strawberry set, colored with with Peeled paint Distress ink and i gave the tip a bit of shaping.

Once i was all done, i decided to tone the color down a bit by using a bit of snow paste and white acrylic splatters.

Good Morning and welcome back to my blog today sharing a small mixed media project for Dusty Attic. This is designed on the heart from the Unlock My Heart Set.

I began by setting pieces on the heart trying to determine which ones i would like and would look great. Once i set them up, i begin painting them all with Buff Acrylic paint. The i added rust Patina from Stamperia and Oxide Sprays

i heat set in between layers of color

the rust patina from stamperia, although does not have texture to it like the Rust paste from Prima, I still love the effect i achieved.

Here is my finished piece, i hope you enjoyed by project this week.

Happy July 5 and welcome back to my blog. Today is a project share day with 49 and Market and I have a layout to share with you using the Viken Collection.

I incorporated a large chipboard clock face as my base and built my project on that. Firstly tracing the clock onto the paper and fussy cutting it out. I did add gesso and texture paste tot he clock face as well. The large window frame in the ephemera bits pack worked well and i backed that onto one of the larger photo mats in the collection too.

Using some tags, and chipboard pieces along with some laser cuts fit together beautifully to frame this photo. I believe i did another layout using the same photo and I love this photo. Reminds me of some special family times.
