Hello Creative Friends:
Happy Saturday Creative Friends:
I have a project share for you. This is a oversized tag which i adorned with the Seasonal Sketch by Tim Holtz for Sizzix.
Good Morning and welcome to my blog. Today I am sharing a make inspired by all the snow that hit our area over a period of three days.
Although we did not get as much as our neighboring city (Sault Ste Marie) we did receive about a 18 inches on our side of St Joseph Island.
I have had the paper village dies in my stash calling my name ( yes that happens, LOL)
Good Morning and Happy Friday Creative friends:
Good Morning and Happy Saturday Creative friends:
Hello friends and welcome back to my blog today as i share with you a Christmas card designed using a few of my favorites from Sizzix.
I really wanted to revisit the Cosmopolitan Merry and Light set from Stacey Park by Sizzix. so i began by creating a textured background.
I did a smooshing technique using antique linen and evergreen bough distress ink. Heat setting in between each layer. I then stamped using white pigment ink and I heat set with white embossing powder, stamping randomly ontop of the background. Then went over with Mini Stencil Set 32- Merry Christmas.
Good Morning Creative friends and welcome back to my blog today as I share with you a mini album i created with the brand new Cottagecore collection designed by Dennis Bruton for 49 and Market.
When I first saw this collection, i knew i wanted to create a mini album and fill it with recipes from my Mother-in law. I have in my possession a recipe book that was written in her mothers and grandmothers handwriting ( i really want to re do the recipes and create a keepsake, so this might be it, now getting to the recipes and re doing them is another story)
The first pocket page, I added vellum to the frame so i could add a photo in here later on, and dedicate recipes to the creator.
On the inside front cover, i created a pocket page. in the bottom left corner, i have a acetate on the inside of the frame so i can put a photo of the my mother in law and throughout the album, I have spots where a photo can go for the person who created the recipe.
