Hello Friend - Sizzix

 

Happy Friday Creative friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing one more card designed with the new Catherine Pooler release with Sizzix

I began with Tulips and Blooms Circle, (666779) die cutting it out on white cardstock, I then placed a larger stitched circle around it and I die cut the scallop from Scallop Circles and Borders (666801) in a coordinating paper from the collection i was working with. 

I then die cut some of the mini florals with the Tulips and Blooms to coordinate. 

I thought adding a butterfly from the Spring Wings ( 666798) would blend in perfectly, so i double cut that added a bit of shaping and popped that on the circle. 

I die cut some leaves  from Greenhouse Finds 2 (666797) and added in some blooms from the Sprinkled with Love (666800)

The scalloped base is Photo Play :A2 - Stitched Scallops Etched Dies ( SIS2837)and the paper is from Simple Stories ( Vintage Love Story 6x8 Paper Pad)

Spring Wings - Sizzix

 Happy Monday Creative friends and welcome back to my blog! Today I am sharing some Butterfly Minis I created using the new Spring Wings by Catherine Pooler for Sizzix. 

These are sweet little cards! I used some of my favorite colors and created this trio. 

First up tis this "Mint" parade of colors, all three butterflies were created the same way, using the Spring Wings, (666798)  which I offset the die on a fold, so i could create a mini fold. 

To create the base I die cut the detail part of the butterfly twice, 

I die cut florals and leaves from Sprinkled with Love (666800)

 Coloring and shaping them in the same colors i used on the butterfly

Evergreen Bough, Speckled Egg, and Antique Linen Distress Inks. A bit of Peeled paint on some of the leaves. 

Here is my Pink Butterfly, that lime green just pups on this cutie. 

(Pink Peony, Vibrant Fuchsia and Tea Rose Archival Ink) 

The green is Vivid Chartreuse) 

And finally, the Purple (Distress inks: dusty Concord, Seedless Preserves and Milled Lavender were used along with a bit of  Chrome Yellow Archival)

Your New Home- Sizzix

 Good Morning Creative friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing my second project designed with the new release from Sizzix  by Catherine Pooler. 

When I first received this package, i couldn't wait to dig in. This collection by Catherine Pooler, is so sweet, and perfect for many occasions. I created this "Congratulations on your new home Card" using A Good Place to Land Stencil ( 666802) 

Which combined with Good Place to Land Die ( 666850) creates these sweet little bird houses. 

With the thought of Valentines Day in the air, i used a red color palette. My background is on water color paper, and I did the smooshing technique using Antique Linen and Aged Mahogany distress inks. I then splatter some gold metallic paint to add  some detail.

I matted it on Sizzix Cardstock (666775) and then used some frames from the Krafty garden from 49 and Market, designed by Katie Pertiet to add some thin layers.

Sprinkled with Love - Sizzix

 Good Morning Creative friends and welcome back to my blog. Today Is the first day of the new release from Sizzix designed by Catherine Pooler. 

 I couldn't resist to work with the Sprinkled with Love (666800) This sweet set has a  watering can and little spring flowers.

 

I began by cutting out all the florals three times and coloring ( i pictured some to be mini daisies or sunflowers) and colored them with distress inks. to suit the color theme i had in mind. 

I die cut the watering can and added that cute heart on top. 

I added in a few floral stamens from my stash and then dabbed with clear glue and sprinkled Glitter on top. This is a technique I use a lot in my floral making and i think it really pops those little florals.

Filled with Joy! Sizzix

 Good Morning Creative Friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing a bit of news as well as a card designed with the new release from 49 and Market, designed by Katie Pertiet for Sizzix. 

I have been holding onto a little secret for a couple months now and I think i can finally share, thought a bit ahead of schedule. 

I'm thrilled to announce that I will be a 2025 Sizzix Featured Creator! This means I will be featured on the Sizzix social media pages and create with their awesome range of products!

I couldn't be more excited about this amazing opportunity and what 2025 will bring! I have already been sharing some makes with the new 49 and Market release, designed by Katie Pertiet for Sizzix!

The card I am sharing today is designed using papers from the Crafty Garden Collection from 49 and market as well.

I began by die cutting out shapes from the Build a Burst Die Set on various papers in the Crafty Garden Collection; I then die cut out shapes from the Fine Stems and added a bit of shaping. Added a few florals from the Painterly Set from Eileen Hull.

I did use the build a burst stamps in the background with embossing ink and heat embossed with Gold embossing powder, unfortunately, most of that work is covered with the Build a Burst Dies.

I die cut a couple circles and and popped that in the middle of the card. I stamped the filled with Joy from the Play Time Set and die cut the Joy and used that as my card title.

Oh Happy Day - Sizzix

Good Afternoon Friends I wanted to share card I designed using the new release from 49 and Market designed by Katie Pertiet for Sizzix. 

Of course I couldn't  resist adding in some handmade florals from the Painterly Die (666689). 

I then die cut Fine Stems (666810) which i cut from coordinating papers in the Willow Collection. 

I wanted to incorporate the tiny flowers that Katie designed in the Playtime set, I look for ways to use  stamps and dies in different ways, so i stamped a few of the tiny flowers and fussy cut them and used them as fillers throughout the card. You can see them tucked in on the image below. 

I then stamped "oh happy day"  from the same set and die cut that out.  I added stamens to the florals and tucked in some fibers in and around the Fine Stems.
