Introducing 3D Vignette Mini-Albums- Amazing Paper Grace

3D Vignettes were introduced almost 2 years ago and along the journey, our readers have begged us not to abandon the concept but to keep adding on.  As always, your wish is our command!  Introducing 3D Vignette Mini-Albums.   When the first 3D Vignettes came out, we fashioned them into mini albums using the familiar side piece and slots but now we've made it permanent with a Universal Hinge.  Plus we've added a whole collection of dies you can use inside the mini-album including two new shaped card profiles and a new Cinch and Go Cottage Bloom Flower that can be used as a dimensional flower or a flat flower inside the mini-album.  Stay tuned as you see a mini-album from each Creative Team Member and card that highlights one of the dies used in the mini-album.

About 3D-Vignette Mini Albums

When the response to the first 3D Vignette cards turned into mini albums blog hop brought such a positive response, readers asked for more.  Becca designed an easy to fold Universal Hinge that makes it easy to convert your 3D Vignette cards into  Mini Albums.  Staying true to her mix and match budget sensibility, of course, all of the elements of this new collection can be used to make flat cards, can be used with original 3D Vignette designs, and older 3D Vignette dies can be refreshed and used with the mini-albums.

Best of all, if you have ever been too overwhelmed to create a mini-album or a scrapbook page, take heart.  Since your choices are mix and match, we've taken all of the guess work out.  The small format is card-sized which makes it do-able for those of you accustomed to working on a small card size project.
We've made albums that are tiny up to 6 x 6" and 8 x 8.

A Memorable Occasion - Dusty Attic

Hi Friends, today i have some new inspiration for you.  This is my first post for Dusty Attic and I have a gorgeous layout to share with you.

I love the detail in Dusty Attic Chipboard and its perfect to enhance any crafty project.

All of the chipboard has been heat set with white embossing powder. All except the
Lacey Pendant Drops. I wanted to bring in some of the color from the photo so i incorporated some tea rose ink into the texture paste.

 I heat embossed the Decorative frame; the title (A Memorable Occasion) which i cut apart and set throughout the layout, as well as the foliage 2.

I blended in 49 and Market flowers and added some snow paste to all the flowers to tone them down a bit and make them a bit more softer.

I also added some tea rose to the smaller flowers to blend in with the photo.

I hope you liked my first project today and look forward to inspiring you this coming year!

Thank you for dropping by today

Products Used:

Foliage 2;
Lacey Pendant Drop ;
Decorative Frame #5;
A Memorable Occasion Title

Other Materials:
49 and Market Paper and Flowers; art stones; white embossing powder; snow paste; cheese cloth;

Be Authentic - Dusty Attic Moodboard Challenge

Hi Friends, welcome to my blog today, I have some mixed media inspiration for you designed for Dusty Attic. You know how much i love cogs, gears and time pieces, and this is for the January Moodboard Challenge.

Here is my take on the challenge;

the clock is from prima; and it has been sitting in my corner, waiting to be altered; i love the chipboard cogs and gears for this one and the Broken Bit Numbers add an awesome touch too.

I used one of the industrial corners and placed it on the left lower side of the clock. I have to admit, im not a fan of pink, i have two boys and hubby makes three; although i dont mind working with pink, its not my go to color, so i used all the colors on this project except the pink!

i have the navy blue; the turquoise; the grey and light tan and my yellow is more of a mustard yellow ( Yellow Rust) but yellow just the same ( Wink)

I cut out a piece of chipboard in a circle and hot glued this right inside the center of the clock and build all my layers on this.  Starting first with the mini chains, adding a Broken Bit Number, then cogs and gears

I cog border, i dampened with water and molded it to the side of the clock while still wet; and i added a piece to the right side and left side of the clock.

Here is a top view of the clock, i love how this turned out and hope i have inspired you to join in on this Months and the first Challenge for 2020

Here are the products i used on this project.

Mini Chains;
Broken Bits #1;
Cogs #3;
Industrial Corners;
Cogs and Gears;
Cog Border #1
