Our Home - Elizabeth Craft Designs

Hello friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing a project for Elizabeth Craft Designs over on their blog.

I have decided to create a layout using Wildflowers 1 ( 2096) I die cut them out on a coordinating paper from the paper collection i used for the layout.

I colored the edges of the floral cuts using Bundled Sage Distress Ink and the center with black archival ink. I also colored the foam stamen with Black Archival Ink but not on all of them on some i also colored the foam stamen Bundled Sage.

I also die cut the Frame Set ( 2101) out on Black Cardstock, i cut it in half and tucked the photo in top and bottom. I though it added such great detail and frames the photo  of our first snowfall in November of 2023 here in Northern Ontario.

Using the Greenery Fillers (2100) i tucked them in and around the florals to add dimension.  I cut the Elegant Leaves 1 ( 2045) out on black cardstock added some shaping to them and tucked in and around the florals.

So here is my layout which i cut to fit this 12 inch Embroidery Hoop. I love how it turned out and I hope i have inspired you to create florals for your layouts too.

Spring Blessings - Elizabeth Craft Designs

Good Morning Creative Friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing a card designed using the newest release from Elizabeth Craft Designs --Garden Party - Designed by Angelica Turner.

This card is created using the Stitched Ovals, along with Wildflower 4, Elegant Leaves and the Stamp- Garden Party Elements Set.

I colored the florals with Catherine Pooler Party Dress Ink with a bit of Tiara in the middle. I thought these would look great with a bit of snow paste and glitter on top so i finished off with that

The detail die from the Book Box added a great background for the Oval Die so i die cut that and added it in.

The background is a Spellbinders 3D Embossing Folder which added some amazing texture to the card base.

thank you for dropping by today.

Sidekick Prompts: Feb 3- Arts & Crafts

Good Morning Creative Friends and welcome back to my blog today as I share with you the Arts & Crafts Prompts for Sidekick Saturday with Elizabeth Craft Designs.

Although the Prompt for today is Arts and Crafts, i feel that since i am already creating for the prompt using dies and paper, that, that will be my Arts & Craft 😉

The sidekick page is die cut onto heavy vellum,

I used Sidekick 7, 8 as well as 19 and Planner Essentials 59 ( The Art Brushes )

I had some left over Ephemera from a upcoming class and thought they would blend in really well with this page.

Die cutting the pocket from Sidekick 8, i attached the brushes to a filmstrip ribbon and then onto a "Hello Happy" Tag that was left over from a upcoming class kit.

Above is the page disassembled.

thank you for dropping by today :D

Family - Memory Journal - 49 and Market

Hello Friends this is Karan Gerber here for the first time in 2024 as an Educator to bring you a project designed using the Moonlit Garden Collection in the Raven Memory Journal.

What I love about the Memory Journal well firstly, it measures 7″ x 9″, this vegan leather album is the perfect size to tuck into a carry-on bag. Its a perfect portable mini that you can bring with you anywhere.

It has 2 interior pockets that will hold your passport, a pen, and you can tuck in a composition book too. This will aid in documenting those favorite family moments on the go There are 6 elastic bands attached to the spine, which allows you to expand the journal. The removable elastic band will  keep all your memories secure

I have added in the Foundation Pages B and C and love the colors in the Moonlit Garden Collection, all the elements blend so beautifully together.  the laser cuts and Ephemera add the perfect embellishments to any project and the elements add such amazing clusters.

The middle of tri fold has a pocket that you can tuck in one of the folders from the Essential File Set and I have embellished the front of it with element from the ephemera pack.

The laser cuts complement any photo and I cannot wait to load this Journal with photos from an upcoming family trip.

Thank you for dropping by today I hope I have inspired you to pull out the Memory Journal for your Family Vacation Photos.
